- Does Ishkzen sell my personal data?
- No. Ishkzen does not sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties. We use your data only to run the service you signed up for — affiliation discovery, interlocution, verification, and safety.
- Who can see my government ID or selfie?
- Only authorised Ishkzen admins reviewing verification. ID documents and selfies are stored in protected uploads, are not shown on your public profile, and are never shared with other members.
- How does Ishkzen verify profiles?
- Members complete profile details and photos during onboarding. Selfie and ID verification happen later from the profile hub. Our team manually reviews uploads before marking identity as verified — approval to use the platform and identity verification are separate steps.
- Can I chat before revealing my full profile?
- Yes. Ishkzen is conversation-first and privacy-first. You can start chatting and reveal more of your identity only when you feel comfortable, using our identity-reveal controls.
- How do I delete my data or close my account?
- Email ishkzen.app@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask for access, correction, or deletion. We respond within a reasonable time and delete or anonymise data except where law or safety requires retention.
- What are my rights under India's DPDP Act?
- You can request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure when appropriate, and grievance redressal. Contact our support email for data requests; we will verify your identity before processing.
- Does Ishkzen use AI on my messages?
- Dost (AI companions), Ishkzen Buddy, and form assist may send parts of your messages or form answers to AI providers such as Groq only when you use those features. We do not train public models on your private chats without your knowledge.
- How do I report a fake profile or harassment?
- Use in-app report and block tools, or visit our Report & safety page at ishkzen.me/help/report. We review reports and can remove users who violate community standards.
