Report & safety

Ishkzen is built for respectful, real conversation. Here is how to flag concerns and protect yourself.

When to report

  • Profiles that look fake, stolen, or misleading (wrong photos, age, or identity).
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or repeated unwanted contact.
  • Scams, requests for money, or links to suspicious sites.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any illegal activity—report immediately.
  • Spam, bots, or automated mass messaging.

How to report a profile or message

  1. Stop engaging if you feel unsafe. You do not owe anyone a reply.
  2. Block & report in the app from their profile or from the chat header (shield icon). This stops new messages from them and sends a report to our team.
  3. Add details when prompted—screenshots help, but do not share passwords or OTP codes.
  4. Email us at ishkzen.app@gmail.com if you need to reach us outside the app.

Fake or misleading profiles

Red flags include:

  • Only one photo, or photos that look like stock images or celebrities.
  • Refusing voice or video when you have already built rapport (without pressuring anyone).
  • Stories that change often, or pressure to move off Ishkzen immediately.

Report the profile with screenshots. We may suspend accounts pending review. Never send money or personal documents to someone you have not met in a safe, verified way.

Harassment or improper behaviour

Unwanted flirting, insults, sexual messages after you said no, or stalking across chats are not okay. Report the behaviour and stop replying. If someone threatens harm, contact local emergency services first, then email us with any Ishkzen details.

Blocking: Use Block & report on a profile or in chat. You will not receive new messages from that person, and we will review their account.

What happens after you report

Our team reviews reports as quickly as possible. We may warn, restrict, or remove accounts that break our Terms. We may not be able to share investigation outcomes with you, but your report still matters.

Stay safer while chatting

  • Meet in public for first in-person meetings; tell a friend where you are going.
  • Keep early conversations on Ishkzen until you trust someone.
  • Never share passwords, OTP codes, or financial details in chat.
  • Use Dost for a calm second opinion if a conversation feels off.
