How Ishkzen Protects Your Privacy (And Why It Matters)

When you join a connection app, you hand over photos, preferences, messages, and sometimes government ID. That is intimate trust. Ishkzen was built privacy-first because we believe you deserve to know — clearly — what happens to that information.

We do not sell your personal data

Ishkzen does not sell your email, profile, chats, or verification documents to advertisers or data brokers. Your information is used to operate the service you signed up for: account security, matching, chat, notifications, verification, and safety.

Conversation-first means privacy-first

Many apps force you to perform for strangers — full photos, full bio, instant judgment. Ishkzen flips that: start with conversation, reveal your identity when you feel ready. Identity-reveal controls let you open up on your terms, not the algorithm's.

What happens to your selfie and ID?

Selfie and government or student ID uploads are optional steps you complete from your profile hub when you want a verified badge. They are stored in protected uploads, accessible only to authorised admins for review, and never displayed on your public profile in Discover or Match.

AI features — only when you use them

Dost companions, Ishkzen Buddy, and form assist may send relevant parts of your messages or form answers to AI providers such as Groq when you actively use those features. We do not silently mine your private human chats for advertising.

Your rights under India's DPDP Act

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Email ishkzen.app@gmail.com from your registered address. We verify requests before making changes and retain only what law or safety requires.

Safety is part of trust
